So, as promised, I will give you an idea about how you can make money with Google Adsense.

First of all, you'll need your own website. This can be either a blog, like the kind of blog you find at blogger.com. But that is not the only site that provides blogging services. There are many, but Blogger is very popular because it is one of the few that will actually allow you to insert the html and javascript you need to serve you Google Adsense ads. Some sites actually use your blog space to serve their own Google ads so that when your visitors click, the blog host gets the money and not you.

Now, if you want a web presence that is more than a blog, (because a blog can be integrated into any website) I recommend you use Yahoo.com to register a domain name. The process is as follows.

You go to Yahoo Small Business and register the domain name of your choice. This can be anything you want. Choose carefully since it is going to be one of your global properties for as long as you pay for the name. The domain name should match the goal and content of the site. However, if you want to be like Google or Yahoo and have a domain name that has nothing to do with the site's content or purpose, feel free to do that to. Really, Google should be called 'Super Global Search Engine.' Maybe, the founders at inception felt that didn't have quite the ring they were looking for.

The cost of registration is $1.99. You now have to choose where you are going to put your website.

I myself have bought domain names from Yahoo. The process is very easy, and you can trust that you are going to get what you paid for because it's Yahoo: a trusted company.

Since I only needed the domain name and not a hosting package, I had to point the nameservers over to the servers where I was paying for hosting.

This was a simple process. My new domain name was up and running within ten minutes. Having cpanel on my hosting package also helped a great deal.

The only complaint I have about Yahoo is its policies regarding its Adsense clone. I can appreciate that they have to go up against the Google, advertising monolith, but that they would beta test only with sites with a million impressions per month didn't make a lot of sense to me.

Yahoo is having a hard time making this system work. Google TOS prohibit the display of Google ads alongside rival ppc, text ads, so, for any given page, a webmaster is going to have to make a choice between Google and Yahoo, and Yahoo is just not winning.

Not to mention the fact that Google is under pressure from the cable providers in bed with traditional advertisers. If any company is losing out because of media integration, it's Google, and by default Yahoo.

The business model for the sucessful, mega, internet company is changing. The owners of content and the cable providers are call the shots and will continue to do so. Google is keeping up, but such a drastic change in business operation is going to depress the stock, significantly. Therefore, the best time to buy and sell Google is right now.

Make Money With Google Adsene

We haven't posted here for a while. But, obviously the site has undergone a modification. We have added the Desi Forum Network search box as well as the book forum search box. Using them will take you to search results from the many forums all over the internet on that subject.

However, since you've come here, you are either interested in Desi videos or making money from web publishing. Let me be the first to tell you that you are in the right place, and today is lesson one for making money with Google Adsense.

Directly above this article you can see Ads by Google. If you click on those ads, I get money. Of course, this site doesn't make nearly as much money as I wish it did. It simply doesn't get the traffic. Maybe, there aren't enough people interested in web publishing or desi girls. Hopefully, one day there will be, and this will be the most highly trafficked website on the internet.

There are however, people who make thousands of dollars per day from google ads just because they know how to place them, and their site gets thousands of hits per day.

Google is the leader in what is known as ppc advertising. The following is a brief article which outlines the fundamentals of the Program. I will follow up with a conclusion.

Google AdSense Tips

AdSense allows website publishers to display contextually
relevant advertisements on their website. If a web visitor
"clicks" on an advertisement, the web publisher will earn a
percentage of the advertising revenue generated as a result
of the click. Many webmasters have built content websites
around the Google AdSense model. In many cases the specific
intent of the webmaster is to profit from Google AdSense.
Other webmasters use Google AdSense to supplement their
revenue. Regardless of the webmaster's intent, the following
tips will help webmasters looking to profit from AdSense.

Top AdSense Tips:

1. Niche Sites.
Targeted niche sites that have a clear theme, tend to generate
more advertising revenue simply because it is easier for these
sites to achieve decent search engine placement. Be warned
though, you want to choose a niche where there is a sufficient
number of advertisements available.

2. Target Keywords.
When determining the site's focus, consider how much advertisers
pay for the advertisements. If the site is focused on ringtones,
like Ringtone Central http://www.ringtones-central.com the payout
per-click is going to be very small because ringtones are not
high ticket items and advertisers will not spend a lot on
pay-per-click advertisements. With less obvious markets use
Overture to determine how much advertisers pay-per-keyword. It
is usually similar on Google. Search Overture for a keyword then
click "View Advertisers' Max Bids" in the top right corner. This
will show the Overture inventory and how much is paid per
keyword. Because the market has become very competitive, it is
difficult to rank well in search engines with a new website that
is optimized for the terms that have the highest payout. Consider
targeting terms that are moderately priced.

3. Aged Sites / Time.
Over time as a website is spidered by Google, advertisements
will generally increase in relevance. In general, older websites
will rank better in search engines. The closer the advertisements
relate to the webpage's content; the higher the "click-through"
the publishers will see.

4. Coding.
In order to minimize a website's maintenance place the Google
generated AdSense code in the website template or an include
file. This will allow you to easily experiment with different
advertisement sizes and ad placement, and keep web maintenance
to a minimum.

5. Tracking Channels.
In order to know how effective a specific website or ad
placement is, use distinct channels and subchannels within
Google. This will allow you to discern what performs best on a
specific website. Using channels will tell you what sites are
making money, what advertisements are making money and what ad
position is the most profitable on a specific website. Keep in
mind that you should run an advertisement for a full week, in
order to properly test its effectiveness. Different days of the
week will have varying web traffic, so comparing one week to
another will give the most accurate reflection of how effective
a campaign performs.

The same is true when testing different advertisement sizes,
placement or color schemes. Be sure to leave campaigns in place
for one week. Again, different days will often result in web
traffic fluctuations. Comparing web traffic, week to week will
give a clear indication of what ad formats perform the best.

6. Integrated Ad Placement.
Many webmasters have been successful at integrating
advertisements into a website. The easiest way to integrate
an advertisement into a website is to remove the advertisement
border. This will allow the ads to better blend with the webpage.
Google recommends contrasting the link colors with the website
colors to increase click-throughs. It is also suggested that
webmasters randomize the color of the advertisements, so that
frequent users will not naturally "filter" the ads.

7. Number vs Value of Advertisements.
Place up to three advertisements on each page. Additional
advertisements drop in value and dilute ad inventory so
publishers should be cautious in adding more advertisement
units. In other words you want to serve the most expensive ads
at all times.

8. Hot Spots.
Like web copy, above the fold holds true with AdSense as well.
This means that advertisements that appear without having to
scroll will be read more frequently. Hot Spots are areas on a
web page that result in a higher percentage of click-throughs.
According to Google the highest paying advertisements are located
on the hot spots.

Google does not indicate if image advertisements or text ads
perform better, so webmasters are encouraged to experiment
with both.

9. Highest Performing Ad Sizes.
According to Google the 336 x 280 rectangle, the 300 x250
rectangle and the 160 x 600 sky scraper result in the highest
number of click-throughs. Depending on the website's design
and layout, publishers may experience different results with
different ad sizes, placements and color schemes. Expirement
and track the results for each website to maximize the AdSenseyou
payout.

Real Estate Brokers and Sales Agents

One of the most complex and significant financial events in peoples lives is the purchase or sale of a home or investment property. Because of this complexity and significance, people typically seek the help of real estate brokers and sales agents when buying or selling real estate.

Real estate brokers and sales agents have a thorough knowledge of the real estate market in their communities. They know which neighborhoods will best fit clients� needs and budgets. They are familiar with local zoning and tax laws and know where to obtain financing. Agents and brokers also act as intermediaries in price negotiations between buyers and sellers.

Real estate agents usually are independent sales workers who provide their services to a licensed real estate broker on a contract basis. In return, the broker pays the agent a portion of the commission earned from the agent�s sale of the property. Brokers are independent businesspeople who sell real estate owned by others; they also may rent or manage properties for a fee. When selling real estate, brokers arrange for title searches and for meetings between buyers and sellers during which the details of the transactions are agreed upon and the new owners take possession of the property. A broker may help to arrange favorable financing from a lender for the prospective buyer; often, this makes the difference between success and failure in closing a sale. In some cases, brokers and agents assume primary responsibility for closing sales; in others, lawyers or lenders do. Brokers supervise agents who may have many of the same job duties. Brokers also supervise their own offices, advertise properties, and handle other business matters. Some combine other types of work, such as selling insurance or practicing law, with their real estate business.

Besides making sales, agents and brokers must have properties to sell. Consequently, they spend a significant amount of time obtaining listings�agreements by owners to place properties for sale with the firm. When listing a property for sale, agents and brokers compare the listed property with similar properties that recently sold, in order to determine a competitive market price for the property. Once the property is sold, both the agent who sold it and the agent who obtained the listing receive a portion of the commission. Thus, agents who sell a property that they themselves have listed can increase their commission.

Most real estate brokers and sales agents sell residential property. A small number, usually employed in large or specialized firms�sell commercial, industrial, agricultural, or other types of real estate. Every specialty requires knowledge of that particular type of property and clientele. Selling or leasing business property requires an understanding of leasing practices, business trends, and the location of the property. Agents who sell or lease industrial properties must know about the region�s transportation, utilities, and labor supply. Whatever the type of property, the agent or broker must know how to meet the client�s particular requirements.

Before showing residential properties to potential buyers, agents meet with them to get a feeling for the type of home the buyers would like. In this prequalifying phase, the agent determines how much the buyers can afford to spend. In addition, the agent and the buyer usually sign a loyalty contract which states that the agent will be the only one to show houses to buyers. An agent or broker then generates lists of properties for sale, their location and description, and available sources of financing. In some cases, agents and brokers use computers to give buyers a virtual tour of properties in which they are interested. With a computer, buyers can view interior and exterior images or floor plans without leaving the real estate office.

Agents may meet several times with prospective buyers to discuss and visit available properties. Agents identify and emphasize the most pertinent selling points. To a young family looking for a house, they may emphasize the convenient floor plan, the area�s low crime rate, and the proximity to schools and shopping centers. To a potential investor, they may point out the tax advantages of owning a rental property and the ease of finding a renter. If bargaining over price becomes necessary, agents must follow their client�s instructions carefully and may have to present counteroffers in order to get the best possible price.

Once both parties have signed the contract, the real estate broker or agent must make sure that all special terms of the contract are met before the closing date. For example, the agent must make sure that the mandated and agreed-upon inspections, including that of the home and termite and radon inspections, take place. Also, if the seller agrees to any repairs, the broker or agent must see that they are made. Increasingly, brokers and agents are handling environmental problems as well, by making sure that the properties they sell meet environmental regulations. For example, they may be responsible for dealing with lead paint on the walls. While loan officers, attorneys, or other persons handle many details, the agent must ensure that they are carried out.

Insurance Underwriters

Insurance companies protect individuals and organizations from financial loss by assuming billions of dollars in risks each year. Underwriters are needed to identify and calculate the risk of loss from policyholders, establish appropriate premium rates, and write policies that cover these risks. An insurance company may lose business to competitors if the underwriter appraises risks too conservatively, or it may have to pay excessive claims if the underwriting actions are too liberal.

With the aid of computers, underwriters analyze information in insurance applications to determine if a risk is acceptable and will not result in a loss. Applications are often supplemented with reports from loss-control consultants, medical reports, data vendors, and actuarial studies. Underwriters then must decide whether to issue
the policy and the appropriate premium to charge. In making this determination, underwriters serve as the main link between the insurance carrier and the insurance agent. On occasion, they accompany sales agents to make presentations to prospective clients.

Technology plays an important role in an underwriter's job. Underwriters use computer applications called "smart systems" to manage risks more efficiently and accurately. These systems automatically analyze and rate insurance applications, recommend acceptance or denial of the risk, and adjust the premium rate in accordance with the risk. With these systems, underwriters are better equipped to make sound decisions and avoid excessive losses.

The Internet also has affected the work of underwriters. Many insurance carriers' computer systems are now linked to different databases on the Internet that allow immediate access to information-such as driving records-necessary in determining a potential client's risk. This reduces the amount of time and paperwork necessary for an underwriter to complete a risk assessment.

Most underwriters specialize in one of three major categories of insurance-life, health, or property and casualty. Life and health insurance underwriters may further specialize in group or individual policies. The increased complexity of insurance plans and attention to the "bottom line" is changing the nature of underwriting. In the past, insurance agents acting as underwriters, particularly in the life and health fields, could accept or reject applications. Now this underwriting role is done mostly by full-time underwriters in the home or field office of the insurance company.

Property and casualty underwriters usually specialize in either commercial or personal insurance, and then by type of risk insured, such as fire, homeowners, automobile, marine, liability, or workers' compensation. In cases where casualty companies provide insurance through a single "package" policy, covering various types of risks, the underwriter must be familiar with different lines of insurance. For business insurance, the underwriter often must be able to evaluate the firm's entire operation in appraising its application for insurance.

An increasing proportion of insurance sales, particularly in life and health insurance, is being made through group contracts. A standard group policy insures everyone in a specified group through a single contract at a
standard premium rate. The group underwriter analyzes the overall composition of the group to assure that the total risk is not excessive. Another type of group policy provides members of a group-a labor union, for example-with individual policies reflecting their needs. These usually are casualty policies, such as those
covering automobiles. The casualty underwriter analyzes the application of each group member and makes individual appraisals. Some group underwriters meet with union or employer representatives to discuss the types
of policies available to their group.

I wish blogging wasn't so personal, I think I would write more, but then again, what am I talking about, blogging not personal? Anyway, this blog has been slow the attract readers, which is not a bad thing, it just goes to show you that getting an audience for a random blog is not entirely easy. Another thing it has taught me is that there is too much stuff out there.
